Challenge 2024 – From the Mountain

From July 1-5, 2024, 3,500+ EFCA students and youth leaders gathered in Kansas City, Missouri to dive into some of Jesus’ most well-known teachings from the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5-7) and be sent from the mountain into their communities with a deeper sense of their calling and purpose as followers of Jesus.

In 2018, Jeremy Barahona sensed a call from God to plant a church in his hometown of West Palm Beach, Florida. This is the story of the work God did to grow that call from an idea, to a small core team, to a thriving, multiethnic congregation in the Latin Quarter of West Palm Beach.
